Why botanical, not pharmaceutical

Understand the category before choosing.

A practical comparison of product types—not a claim of medical equivalence. Prescription diuretics must never be replaced, copied or combined with a supplement without medical supervision.

The 7 jobs AQUASHED® does

One scoop. Seven angles of attack.

Click any point on the chart to see which ingredients handle that job — and the one-line mechanism behind each.

Full disclosure

Every ingredient. One line each.

Eleven botanicals in a 5,000 mg formula, listed in label order. Red bars mark the diuretic drivers; navy marks urinary-tract, definition and antioxidant support.

Uva ursi leaf (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)

Diuretic · Urinary antiseptic

Arbutin converts to hydroquinone in urine, a mild antiseptic that keeps the urinary tract clean while fluid turnover is high, with a diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Dandelion leaf (Taraxacum officinale)

Traditional water balance · Potassium source

Traditionally used in water-management formulas and naturally contains potassium; this does not eliminate dehydration or electrolyte risk.

Goldenrod (Solidago odora)

Aquaretic

Increases urine volume without forcing electrolyte excretion — traditionally used to flush the kidneys and bladder.

Juniper berry (Juniperus communis)

Diuretic · Sodium

Terpinen-4-ol increases glomerular filtration, moving sodium and water out through the kidneys.

Buchu leaf (Agathosma betulina)

Diuretic · Urinary tract

Diosphenol-rich leaf that increases urine output and soothes the urinary tract, a classic pairing with uva ursi.

Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus)

Iodine · Metabolic

Seaweed source of iodine and fucoidan that supports thyroid-driven metabolic rate and a tighter, drier skin appearance.

Cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum)

Metabolic · Antioxidant support

Provides aromatic polyphenols commonly studied in the context of normal glucose metabolism and antioxidant support.

Green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis)

Thermogenic · Antioxidant

EGCG and a trace of natural caffeine add mild diuresis and thermogenesis and broad antioxidant cover.

Cranberry (Oxycoccus)

Urinary tract

Proanthocyanidins stop bacteria adhering to the bladder wall — protection that matters when you're urinating far more than usual.

Mint leaves extract

Digestion · Anti-bloat

Menthol relaxes the gut wall to reduce gas and bloating so the midsection reads flat on stage.

Tamarind (Tamarindus indica)

Digestion · Antioxidant

Polyphenols and fibre support regularity and add antioxidant capacity during the final depletion days.

Reading the label

  • Five diuretic botanicals, not one. Uva ursi, dandelion, goldenrod, juniper and buchu work through different renal mechanisms, so water leaves steadily rather than in a single dangerous rush.
  • Dandelion contributes natural potassium. This does not guarantee electrolyte balance; normal food and fluid intake, the physical label and professional advice remain essential.
  • Three urinary-tract protectors. Uva ursi, cranberry and buchu look after the bladder while you're urinating several times more than usual.
  • Definition support is built in. Cinnamon steers carb-up glycogen into muscle; bladderwrack and green tea support a tighter, drier skin finish.
  • It contains no pharmaceuticals and no synthetic stimulants — only the trace caffeine that comes with green tea.
  • "With meals" and "with water" are instructions, not suggestions. Botanical diuretics are meant to shift excess water, not dehydrate you.

The final seven days

Reveal the detail. Keep the muscle.

Peak-week fluid and electrolyte manipulation can be risky. Keep the product within its printed directions and leave any competition-specific changes to a qualified sports professional.

Before use · Verify

Read the physical label, check the tamper seal and verify the product code. Do not use if a health-screen item applies without medical clearance.

Serving · Follow label

Mix one scoop in 240–350 ml water and take with a meal. The label permits one to two servings; never exceed two in 24 hours.

During use · Monitor

Do not combine with another diuretic or deliberately dehydrate. Stop for dizziness, palpitations, severe cramping or reduced urination.

Event plan · Professional

Fluid, sodium, carbohydrate and medication decisions belong with a qualified coach or healthcare professional—not an online calculator.

Why competitors choose it

Eight reasons AQUASHED® is the peak-week standard.

★

Competition-focused format

A purpose-built powdered botanical formula with clear serving directions for healthy adults.

★

No pharmaceutical diuretics

A dietary supplement, not a medicine. That distinction does not mean risk-free use or replace professional advice.

★

Five mechanisms of water loss

Uva ursi, dandelion, goldenrod, juniper and buchu act through different renal pathways for steady, predictable output.

★

Potassium comes with it

Dandelion leaf supplies potassium as it works, helping electrolytes stay in range while water leaves.

★

Urinary tract protected

Cranberry, uva ursi and buchu look after the bladder during the highest fluid turnover of your prep.

★

Definition support built in

Cinnamon, bladderwrack and green tea help the carb-up go where it should and the skin finish tight.

★

Made in USA, verified in India

FDA-inspected, GMP-certified, HPLC and FTIR tested. Every jar carries a verification code.

Know what you take

Every question we've been asked about AQUASHED®.

What exactly is AQUASHED®?

A botanical subcutaneous water-removal formula for the final days before a show, shoot or event. Five diuretic herbs, three urinary-tract protectors and three definition and antioxidant botanicals in a 5 g scoop, taken with meals.

How does it work?

Uva ursi, dandelion, goldenrod, juniper and buchu raise urine output through different renal pathways, clearing the water that sits under the skin. Dandelion supplies potassium as it works; cranberry, uva ursi and buchu protect the urinary tract; cinnamon, bladderwrack and green tea support a tight, dry finish.

Is it a pharmaceutical diuretic?

No. It is a botanical dietary supplement, not a prescription medicine. Botanical does not mean risk-free: do not combine it with another diuretic or medication without medical approval.

How do I take it?

The current label states one to two scoops in 240–350 ml water with meals. Start with the lowest label serving and never exceed two scoops in 24 hours.

When should I start before a show?

The label does not prescribe a personalised peak-week schedule. Discuss event-specific timing with a qualified coach or healthcare professional and avoid first-time experimentation immediately before an event.

Should I cut water while using it?

No online product page should direct deliberate dehydration. Maintain normal fluid intake unless a qualified healthcare professional overseeing you gives different instructions.

Should I cut sodium?

Not aggressively. Sodium and potassium balance is what makes the look; the formula is built around gradual water loss with dandelion's potassium, not sodium starvation.

Will I lose muscle fullness?

Individual appearance and fluid response vary. No supplement can guarantee selective loss of water from one tissue while preserving another.

How much water weight will I lose?

There is no responsible universal estimate. Response varies with hydration, diet, medication, health status and other factors; rapid or unexpected fluid loss needs medical attention.

Is it a weight-loss product?

No. It moves water, not fat. Use Liposhed® and a calorie deficit for fat loss; use AQUASHED® for the final reveal.

Can I use it for a photo shoot or holiday?

Only if you are a healthy adult who passes the safety screen and follows the physical label. Do not create an aggressive dehydration protocol for a cosmetic event.

Can I use it for everyday bloating?

Occasionally, one scoop with a meal. It isn't intended for continuous daily use; if you retain water regularly, see a doctor.

How long can I use it?

Use only as directed on the current physical label. It is not intended for continuous self-treatment of swelling or water retention.

Does it contain caffeine?

Only the trace amount naturally present in green tea leaf extract — far less than a cup of coffee. No added stimulants.

Will I be running to the bathroom all day?

Urine output rises noticeably but gradually. Take the last scoop with dinner rather than late at night.

Is it safe for my kidneys?

In healthy adults, used as directed for short periods with normal water intake, botanical diuretics are well tolerated. Anyone with kidney disease, kidney stones or on kidney-affecting medication must not use it without medical advice.

Can I take it with blood-pressure medication or other diuretics?

No — not without your doctor's explicit advice. Stacking diuretic effects risks dangerous potassium and blood-pressure drops. Same for lithium.

Is it suitable for women?

Healthy adult women may use it according to the physical label, but it must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Medical conditions and medicines require professional review.

Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No.

Is it banned in sport?

Rules and ingredient status can change. Tested athletes must independently check the current prohibited list and their federation's rules for every ingredient and batch before use.

Any side effects?

Uncommon when used as directed with adequate water. Mild cramping means you need more water and a normal meal. Stop and consult a doctor for dizziness, palpitations or reduced urination.

Can I take it on an empty stomach?

The label says with meals, and that's the right way: food provides the electrolytes that make botanical diuresis safe.

Can I take it with my pre-workout or other supplements?

Yes — it has no meaningful stimulant content. Avoid any other diuretic or "water-loss" product in the same window, and read every label.

Should teenagers use it?

No. AQUASHED® is for adults 18+, as the label states.

How long does a jar last?

45 scoops covers roughly four to six peak weeks at the usual 7–10 scoops per event.

Where is it made?

Manufactured in San Diego, California, at an FDA-inspected, GMP-certified facility, and marketed in India by Hybrid Laboratories (India) Private Limited.

How do I verify my jar?

Enter the code at myogenetix.in/verify before first use.

How should I store it?

Cool, dry, lid tight, away from heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dry skin. Full muscle. Stage-perfect.

The professional-strength water-removal formula that works with your body, not against it.
