Eastman Tritan™ copolyester
A copolyester engineered by Eastman to deliver the clarity and gloss of polycarbonate with the impact resistance of a sports plastic — and without bisphenol-A anywhere in the formulation. It is the material medical devices and premium drinkware are built from.
Glass-like clarity that lasts
Most clear plastics haze after a few dishwasher cycles as the surface micro-cracks. Tritan™ resists that crazing, so the bottle you see at month twenty-four looks like the one you unboxed.
Impact resistance
Drop a glass bottle on a gym floor and you sweep it up. Drop this and you pick it up. The copolyester absorbs the shock rather than propagating a crack.
Non-porous surface
Cheap plastics are slightly porous — which is why they end up smelling of protein no matter how you scrub. Tritan™ has nowhere for residue to lodge, so mango on Monday doesn’t haunt your water on Tuesday.
BPA, BPS and phthalate free
Not “BPA-free” by substitution with BPS — free of the whole bisphenol family by formulation. Nothing to leach into a protein shake left in a hot car.
Dishwasher durable
Rated for repeated top-rack cycles at dishwasher temperatures without warping the thread or clouding the body.
Ribbed screw cap & gasket
Deep vertical ribs give grip with wet hands; the internal gasket seals against a triple-start thread, so three-quarters of a turn opens or closes it.
What it isn’t
Single-wall and uninsulated, so it won’t keep a shake cold for hours. Not for hot liquids, not for carbonated drinks, and not a blender — Myogenetix® powders are instantised for exactly this reason.

Care: rinse straight after use; wash with warm water and a bottle brush or on a dishwasher’s top rack with the cap off. Air-dry upright with the cap off so the gasket stays fresh. Don’t freeze, microwave, or fill with boiling liquid.

Reading the spec
- 500 ml is deliberate. One scoop in 240–350 ml of water is a Myogenetix® serving; 500 ml holds it with room to shake and nothing sloshing.
- Clear body, white sleeve. The opaque upper section hides the mixing turbulence and gives the milk-bottle silhouette; the clear lower section shows the shake.
- “BPA-free” is a formulation fact here, not a marketing sticker — Tritan™ contains no bisphenol A, and no BPS substitute either.
- It is not insulated. That’s what keeps it light and see-through; if you want cold for hours, that’s a vacuum flask and a different object.
- No hot liquids and no fizzy drinks. Heat and pressure are the two things a screw-capped copolyester bottle doesn’t want.

Rinse immediately
Thirty seconds under a tap after the last mouthful prevents everything else on this list.
Top rack only
Dishwasher safe on the top rack with the cap off. Keep it off the heating element.
Dry with the cap off
Air-dry upright and open so the gasket doesn’t hold moisture.

What is Tritan™?
An engineering copolyester made by Eastman Chemical. It gives the clarity and gloss of polycarbonate with far better impact resistance, and contains no bisphenol A anywhere in its formulation.
Is it really BPA-free?
Yes — and BPS-free too. Many “BPA-free” plastics simply swap BPA for BPS. Tritan™ uses neither.
Will it hold the smell of my protein?
No. The surface is non-porous, so there is nowhere for residue to lodge. Rinse after use and it stays neutral.
Will it go cloudy in the dishwasher?
Not the way cheap clear plastics do. Tritan™ resists the surface crazing that causes haze. Top rack, cap off.
Does it keep drinks cold?
It’s single-walled, so no — it isn’t a vacuum flask. That’s what keeps it light and transparent.
Can I use hot liquids?
No. Cold and ambient drinks only; no boiling water, no microwave.
Carbonated drinks?
No — pressure and a screw cap are a poor combination.
Can I freeze it?
No. Liquid expands as it freezes and can stress the body and thread.
Does it come with a mixing ball?
It doesn’t need one. Every Myogenetix® powder is instantised to dissolve with a shake of the wrist — the reason there’s no whisk rattling inside.
How much does it hold?
500 ml — one scoop in 240–350 ml with room to shake, or two scoops in the full volume.
Is it leak-proof in a bag?
The cap seals on a silicone gasket against a triple-start thread. Close it firmly — three-quarters of a turn — and it travels in a bag.
Will it fit a bottle cage or cup holder?
It fits most car cup holders and gym-bag pockets. The milk-bottle shape is wider than a cycling bottle, so it isn’t intended for a bike cage.
How do I clean the gasket?
Rinse it weekly under warm water; if it ever holds a smell, soak it in warm water with a little bicarbonate.
Is the logo printed or a sticker?
Factory-applied print, not a sticker. Dishwasher cycles won’t lift it.
What’s in the box?
The bottle with the cap and loop fitted. Nothing to assemble.
Is it a supplement?
No — it’s equipment. No nutrition panel, no dosing, no warnings.
